Policies

Appointments
We request that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment so that you may relax, have a complimentary beverage, change, and fill out any forms that may be necessary. If you arrive 15 minutes or more late, we may have to reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations
We kindly request a 24 hour notice of cancellation. Reservations canceled without the benefit of a 24 hour notice will incur a 50% charge for those services canceled. No-show reservations will be charged 100% of the cost of services booked. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and gift certificates to reserve and secure appointments. Charges will be made on credit cards or deducted from gift certificates that were used to hold reservations.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be purchased in any denomination They may be redeemed for services or product. No refunds can be given. Earth Tones Hair Salon is not responsible for lost gift certificates.

Color Services
Please note that prices quoted on our services page for color services do not include blowdry. Blowdrying is available upon request for an additional fee.

Special Considerations
While Aveda colors and services are all natural and plant derived, please keep in mind that the products used to maintain or transform your hair color or style are permanent.  Therefore it is always in your best interest to not wear new clothing when coming in for services.  An unintentional brush of the hand by your ear, or even the tiniest accidental splatters can lead to a stain on your clothing that cannot be resolved.  Earth Tones is not responsible nor liable for non-stylist related damage to clothing.  As always we will do our best to cover and protect you with capes and towels, however we also can provide you with an Aveda treatment smock/robe if you desire.

We consider a visit to our salon a time for guests to relax and escape the everyday stresses of life. We would ask that enjoy quiet conversation and refrain from cell phone usage while in the salon.

Children
We love children, and they are welcome in the Salon if there is a parent or caregiver (not having services) available to care for them. The Salon can be a very dangerous place for unattended children.
